1962 Bassman Amp pristine shape

I will not be bidding on this but I thought that maybe someone on the boards might be interested.

Right now the highest bid is $910.00

Ooh...6G6...ooh..

Thankls for the heads up. I'll be bidding against who knows how many studios and Brian Setzer, but I'm goin' $920. Seriously, we should have a "price is right" competition. Closest without going over wins snaps. I was going to say $2300, but I think I'll up it to $2874.92. No, that's not what I'm bidding.

That model was my second amp and first Fender amp. Wish I still had it.

That $2K bid is still low- considering it's condition (looks recently recapped, decent shape and in oxblood). I will take a guess and say the winning bidder gets the amp and cab for $2399.

Doesn't Setzer play a 6G6-A?

I'm the proud owner of a 6G6-B, myself.

Count yourself very lucky...

Setzer uses stock 6G6-B bassmans with different tubes. He drives the Gretsch into a Space Echo then to the Bassmans. Uses two on stage frequently. This is what I've been told from friends of mine who know him AND his rig.

Pristine? Wrong speakers and OT and pretty scuffed up on the bottom of the cab... and isn't that a bit late for oxblood (the cloth shows no signs of wear yet there is a fair amount of wear on the tolex)?
