9 String Picking
Anyone else ever play like this? I am thinking about giving this one another shot. Years ago I took an old Oscar Schmidt-made Stella 12 string and removed the three octave bass bass strings but left the extra treble strings tuned in unison. Used to play slide on it. I loved being able to play bass patterns as you would on a six string combined with the sound of the doubled up strings on the slides.
