Twelve string acoustic

I usually play stuff like this on my twelve string:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...30351291785061
I use a lot of two and three note chords, and hit the guitar quite hard at times.

Are there other twelve string players here, and what kind of music do you play on it (besides Hotel California)?

There's a fair amount of Zepplin that cries out for a 12-string.

12 string moods and colors--It's all Good!

I like to play uptempo bluegrass with my 12 (a new Guild 512 that replaces a D12-28).

It's great for solo classic/oldies medleys, jams with 6 strings and ballads. If you practice you can get the nashville tuning in there with everything else.

BTW, that Guild's a killer guitar! Tone to die for and wonderful action and overall playability.

Just recently, playing some Steve Howe stuff (And You And I, Sketches in the Sun), Jimmy Page stuff (Stairway, Over the Hill & Far Away), Leo Kottke (starting to work on Drive of the Year Nail and Busted Bicycle) and then my own stuff. After the Kottke stuff, I'm going to go back and listen to some Ralph Towner.

These songs all sound killer on a 12 (and that's why I play them)

"Nights in White Satin" -Moody Blues
"Lucky Man" -ELP
"Mr. Bojangles" -?
"Sloop John B" -Beach Boys
"Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" -Pete Seeger
Amost any Neil Young tune

Open tuning noodlings and loping almost slack key - my Alvarez 12 is tuned down to c - faves are C open (think of a fingered open D chord in standard tuning), A open (like G open or Taro Patch), F wahine, open G with the lowest strings tuned to C, DADGAD and C modal.
