mono cable for pickup

hey guys.....i have an old barcus berry jr pickup i'm wanting to use. thing works fine but it uses a 1/8 mono plug. i need a 1/8 to 1/4 mono/mono cable for this thing. i know i could just buy an adapter for one end of a normal cable. but i hate having a big extension on the end of the guitar....and the more connections you have the more chances for poor connections and interference.
anyone know of any suppliers that can help me ?
and...i already checked into radio shack...no dice.

Well...googled over hill and dale. never could find one. got an adapter......end of story.
