Masterbilt's

Hey guys, I just want to hear your opinions on the Epiphone Masterbilt line. I own one and have heard nothing but good things by people who have seen, played, or heard my guitar. Does anyone else here own one? And in all the guitar stores I've been to, I've never spotted my model in any of them (EF-500RA), I hope it's because they just sell out to quick!

I really liked the first models, AJ-500, DR-500. I haven't tried any of the follow up models, but Masterbilt's have been getting great reviews and awards from the guitar mags. I'd like to see them add a small body in the line.

Don't know if it qualifies here but I just bought sight unplayed a EN-552 classical masterbilt. I'd been hunting around town for a month or two for a classical guitar that sounded full to me and couldn't find one. Saw the specs on the guitar from musicians friend and ordered one. Glad I did. Little guitar, big sound.

The Masterbilts are poised at becoming THE acoustic guitars of choice - truly great workmanship, materials and PRICE. Just awaiting the arrival of a 000 fingerstyle cutaway steel string model ... 'til then, I just bought a Seagull Folk CW.

At the same price or cheaper....

....for an all-solid wood acoustic, you might also check out Blueridge guitars.

I believe both Epis and Blueridge are made in China.
