New Fender Acoustics at NAMM

A couple of new acoustic guitars at the Fender Booth at NAMM. Now, Fender acoustics aren't a big deal. But wisely, they've got a new line called the California Series with Strat headstocks, just like the "old days". They looked cool.

They also have a new line from Mexico called the Ensenada Series. They're saying it's a small part of the Mexican factory where "old time craftsman build guitars in a special time honored way."

Generally the words fender and acoustic don't work too well together, but I heard the Ensenada series are quite something.

Oh yeah, I hear that ... I'm very pleased and quite smitten at times with the acoustic I've been playing for roughly 5 years now.

But isn't that some real pretty wood.?!
