The L-00 was a pre-war small body acoustic -- do you mean an LG-2? That's the closest equivalent. If so, probably in the $1500 range if in good shape -- '50s would be a bit more, and the wartime LG-2 with a banner headstock would be closer to the $2500 range. The LG-1 is the ladder-braced version -- maybe a little more than half of the above. An LG-0 is ladder braced with a mahogany top -- even less for that one.

L-00 Article
The Oct. 06 issue of Acoustic Guitar has an article on L-00 hunting. Thought you might enjoy it.
http://www.acousticguitar.com/articl...ORKBENCH-1.asp Old Friends By Baker Rorick Often overshadowed by Gibson's larger flattops, Depression-era L-00s are excellent guitars for blues and fingerstyle players. Even though their history can be confusing, if you know what to look for, you might just find a vintage gem. |
