Acoustic Guitar Techs in DC area
Does anyone know a good acoustic guitar tech in the DC/Northern Virginia area? I want to get some basic work done on my Epiphone (set-up, action lowering). I've scrounged the Internet and phone books with little success. I'm wary of using the services at Guitar Center and Music & Arts. I know some folks in Baltimore, but it's a drag to drive over an hour each way to get my guitar worked on.
Thanks! |

Check Action or Acoustic Axis
Two places to check would be Action Music in Arlington or Acoustic Axis in Alexandria.
Matt at Action does great work, although I can't personally vouch for anything on an acoustic. I've browsed Acoustic Axis and they have a nice selection of acoustics. I've never heard anything -- good, bad or neutral -- about their repair work.
