My new one
Here she is. Just bought her while I was in israel for 4200 shekel, about 730 euro. I was going to go for a cole clark, but the idea of my guitar being shipped from Austrialia to Italy without a case scared me to death. Now I'm happy I didn't.
Its a takamine, I don't know the exact model BUT its got: -Solid cedar top -Solid mahogany back and sides -Mahogany (1 piece?) neck -Rosewood fretboard -Ladder Bracing -Made in Japan It sounds spectacular. I tried quite a few guitars, and this was by far the best. It was unamplified originally, but the shop installed some sort of system on it, which is one of the reasons I bought it. I plugged in, and it was so passive, that I didn't realize I was plugged in 'till the volume was WAY up! And this baby is such a great player that I didn't even feel the need to put 13s on it like I usually do. Sounds wierd, but this felt perfect with 12s, and it doesn't sound thin in any way. Only pity is that I can't quite get that traditional blues sound with the cedar top, but what I can get is a far more unique tone 8) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very nice, and looks good next to the light blond Tele!
Tak's have very friendly string action, low enough to be comfortable for the electric player. From the rosette, your Tak appears to be a Santa Fe model, but I don't recall USA market Santa Fe's with the dreadnaught body shape. Mik
