I think the search has almost come to an end...

I've been looking at guitars in the $500 and below price range and I think I am going to get a Big Baby Taylor (BBT). The one I played today had a great feeling neck and sounded as good as guitars costing twice as much.

I played a Wechter Triple o today that sounded fantastic, but I wouldn't be able to live with the wide nut.

Also, got to try out a few of the Guild GAD series, IMHO the lowest priced one sounded best.

Honorable mention goes to Walden, but the BBT blew it away.

Going to try to get one tomorrow.
