Help dating my Kay archtop
Hey all I got this super barky Kay yesterday. Blue label inside. That's it. When do you think it was made?

I have seen a whole bunch of those triburst Kays with that logo in my lifetime. I don't recall a model number if, in fact, I ever knew it.
About all I can tell you is that peaked headstock appeared around 1939 and was common through the 1940s although you still saw them in the 1950s (even later on guitars like Kay-built Airlines).
