An admitted "guitar junkie", flea market freak and garage sale addict, I found myself facing empty hands after my local rounds last Saturday.

Seeing a unadvertised local church flea market on the way home, I stop and what do my eyes behold? A Yamaha FG-360 in the original HSC sitting on the ground with a $125 price tag attached. I REALLY didn't need another acoustic.....but something told me to take a closer look. I took a pass on it initially......called my wife to check on the Internet for any info.....she told me of the one on eBay recently with some slight damage.....and that the bidding was over 100 dollars. Succumbing to temptation, I returned to the flea market after completing some errands and found no one had bought that puppy! Haggle, haggle and more haggling......and I reeled in that pup for $90.00!!

New light guage strings on now.....and she rings like a Sunday church bell! Makes a nice companion to my FG-300!

Now, the garage sale search continues for a Martin D45, '53 Tele a Sho-Bud Pro I.......yeah, right........I don't think I'll hold my breath!!

need?..... need has very little to do with guitar purchases. WANT is what counts.

Yep, if it was not for want, i would not have my acoustic. It's a 70's model Fender Newporter with mahagony top, sides and neck, rosewood fretboard. I paid $120 for it.

Of course I didn't NEED that nice acoustic.....I just wanted it! I must've had a senior moment......whatsamatterwithme??!?! I almost sounded guilty! Thanks for keeping me straight, guys!

Now, let's see....where do I go flea marketing this weekend.........
