I need help ID'ing these tuners!
I found out the hard way that these buttons are only "supposed" to look/feel like rubber coated metal and in fact are just cheesy plastic!
![]() Now I need 6 good buttons. Does anyone know what style tuners these are copied from? I'm finding Gotoh's and Schallers and Schaller style Gotohs and 3 or 4 others! HELP! ETA: I borrowed one from a Crate Strat copy and it fits fine. It looks like the shaft has two flat sides. |

I guess you don't want to just replace the whole tuner with a gold or chrome-plated Grovers? They are pretty cheap these days, and look like your tuners as far as shape and fit...

These tuners work so good that I don't want to mess up a good thing by replacing them.
I actually found a chrome button from an Asian Strat copy that screws on and works fine. It looks really goofy, but hey who cares? I bought it to play not look at! Maybe Takamine will answer my E-mail and send me one! (Yeah Right!) |

Other than the cheesy tuner buttons, its a 10. I've let several people test drive it and their jaws just drop when I tell them its a sub $500 China special! |
