anybody play one of these? reviews? opinions? good value and sound? or should i stay away from the laminate even though it's a martin? sure looks pretty, though.

2nd hand advice and 1st hand opinion
A local luthier had a strong opinion to avoid the X Martins;
they have no track record was his point. YMMV. I see that these are about $450; for $500 you can find the less glamorous DM 'real' wood Martin. I just got a used D2R for about $650, and highly recommend seeking this model out.

non wood martin
As a useful, leave it out and not worry about humidification, or weather, or it's safety in general guitar... if you have kids, dogs, etc...I think it has the martin sound for the $. IMHO it looks pretty cool as well. It's no substitute for it's pricier brothers though. Luke
