Familiar with the Harmony Hummingbird?
I was looking for an inexpensive acoustic with a full tone and an easy-to-play neck (since my lazy hands are used to my telecasters and strats). I stumbled across a nice cherryburst Harmony Hummingbird that must be 30 or 40 years old. Kind of large body, easy-playing neck, and a fine strong tone. A prior owner put a transducer pickup inside it, with the jack installed at the strap button, and through a Fender Deluxe Reverb it sounded clear, bright and full.
Anyone familiar with this model? It has the serial number 1221 on the headstock. It's a great, comfortable acoustic with just the right combination of cheese, tone, playability, and cool honky tonk vintage appearance. Appears to be all solid wood...
