Just received the Silver Creek T160.$199 with a $100 rebate.This is a real bargain as of now..I'll know more after I do my thing to it,neck adjustment nut and bridge work to lower the action [very slightly] and new strings.Later I'll probably replace the bridge,nut and pegs.
They say the fingerboard is rosewood but it must have been dyed because it's black as ebony.
It has a very nice ringing tone and I love the wider neck.I can get my fat fingers where I want them without deadning adjoining strings.
I'll tune it down one full step to suit my tired worn out old vocal cords.
Think this will be fun..
