ISO an old acoustic arrangement

This may be a long shot but here goes-

I'm looking for a solo acoustic arrangement of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". The hard part is finding just the right one.

Going back some years (mid 70s iirc) a buddy of mine played a very beautiful rendition of this selection. He performed it finger style with lots of harmonics as well as forced harmonics, especially in the bridge section.

This wasn't his arrangement, but I can't recall if he learned it from a record or if there was sheet music for it. Alas, I don't even remember who the guitarist was that created this splendid arrangement.

So the question is, does anyone have any knowledge about this or where I might find either the chart or the recording? Yes, I've tried googling but apparently I'm not entering the right search data or something.

After all these years I never forgot how beautiful that arrangement was and I've always wanted to learn how to play it. If you can help me find it I'd be very grateful.

I have a collection of about 30 or so versions of OTR . . . wide range of artists/styles . . . not sure, but one of them might be one of them is similar to what you're after . . . I'll pm you later with a list . . . includes a lovely acoustic version by Dave Grisman and Martin Taylor though that's probably not the one you're looking for.
