blueridge guitars

HI, I am new here but I was wondering if there are any other Blueridge Guitar lovers out there? I am a old Tele player and still am. I have three Blueridges.BR-280/BR-283 and a BR-70-AS. They have a slim and FAST neck like a Tele. Also is there any one with feedback on a Stanford guitar?

Yeah, I have two of them:
Blueridge BR-160
Blueridge BR-70.

They're both real purty and sound great I play one or the other every day!
I may post pics of me playing them soon.

I might get another one of the fancier ones soon.

I have a BR-163 that sounds huge and has great tone considering the cost. When playing it upstairs around the wife she yells at me to "turn it down" like it's an electric...

While I don't own a Blueridge, I have spent some quality time with several models. I played a killer little BR-341 the other day at a pawn shop. Sweet, little parlour guitar....it has a nice, fat neck and excellent tone. I'd take it in a heartbeat if I had the cash. Played a couple of dread styles...not sure of the model numbers....one was a Gibson copy and the other a Martin copy. I was not impressed with the Gibson copy, but the Martin copy was excellent. Nice guitars though!

I have a BR-343. Love the 000 body, and the inlays are killer. Sweet sounding guitar. I got on of my son's a BR-70 for Christmas a couple of years ago. Another sweet sounding guitar. Blueridge are top-drawer in my book.

Doug: Is the BR-70 really lightweight? Mine's way lighter than my BR-160 and I was curious if they're all that way.

Love mine, all solid wood mahog and spruce that sounds great. I mean it really does sound great. I noticed the prices have gone up substantialy since I bought mine but they are still a good deal for the money and the tone you get from the solid wood ones. It has also been a very stable flattop with no issues after lots of play and time.

I have a BR-160 and put faux ivory pins in and a K+K western pickup under the saddle.

Dreamy...

I play a Blueridge BR-140A and it is a Monster!!!!! It is a dread body, Hog B/S, and an Adirondack Spruce Top. Pre War Bracing. I plat primarily bluegrass and it shines there but it is a great all around instrument as well. It's not a bad fingerpicker, but really shines when you hit it with a good stiff flatpick. It's a CANNON!!!!

I was a very big fan of Blueridges, but recently I have seen several with humped necks.
