Is anyone out there lucky enough to have a... Henderson Acoustic?

Wayne Hendersaon (from Virginia if I remember correctly) was featured in a UK TV Program last year and the tone of his guitars just blew me (and my trusty Martin OM) away.

Anyone lucky enough to own one of these bluegrass gems? Are they as good as they were depicted to be on the TV?

Please tell me all about yours if you have one or know anything about Wayne Henderson since a) he's not the kind of guy to be "us'in that inTerNet thingy" and b) Im in the UK which means I can just take a road trip to go find out for myself.

Thanks in anticipation.
Mack.

I have a friend who lives in Virginia (with a room full of fancy acoustics), just sent him an email. He replied-

Quote:
Famous for building a guitar for the Clapton book that was written a while back. He builds great guitars and is quite a player too. Supposedly are real down-to-earth guy who still lives back in the hollows...

The book, written by Allen St. John, (who I believe is a forum member here) is a very good read.

Here is his website.

The book is available from both Amazon USA and Amazon UK.

Get, and read Allen St. John's book 'Clapton's guitar'.
Yes, he is a member here. Great guy.
