preamps

i'm shoppin around for an acoustic electric guitar with a cutaway. i want a ocean blue or some variations of that. i prefer chrome hardware opposed to gold but thats not a big deal and is not much of a factor unless i have two that are exactly the same and the hardware is the only difference. i wanted one with a built in tuner but the one i'm lookin at now http://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=883&sid=69# doesn't have one. so could i change the preamp in it?

Go to the electronics section of the takamine website and look at the CT-48 pre amp. It has the tuner in it. You could probably order the guitar with that pre-amp instead of the other. They are easy to change to the one you want.

yes i started looking around the website after i made this post and saw it. now all i gotta do is find a takamine dealer around here. then i saw the removal and installation thing and i though man thats gotta be easy! still helps to hear someone say i can do it. thanks for the tip
