Ah, a DM. Nothing wrong with that picture. I played one at GC, spent 20 min or so with it. Very nice git, specially for under a grand.

However, for about half that you can score a nice Recording King...RD127. Gloss finish, very nicely done Abalone inlay on the head stock, solid rosewood back and sides, sitka spruce top, and herring bone purfling. I urge to check it out.

But for a Martin, that is a nice git.

edit: That last sentence didn't read like it sounded in my head when I wrote it. I meant for a relatively inexpensive Martin that's a nice git.

I have the D1 which is just about the same guitar. I absolutely love it and it sounds better than my wife's $1600 Taylor.
