F-35?

Hi all,
I picked up a Fender F-35 in the pawn shop for $60.00 and was wondering when this model was produced, and what the new price was/value is now, on a pretty good playing guitar with a couple of small dings and scratches.
I'm a bass player mostly, but I like to play guitar too. Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this for me,

'slaper.

Check the label in the hole

The F-35 should have a paper label glued to the bottom in the sound hole. The first two digits of the ser. no. is the year of maufacture.

There is a paper lable...

but it just says Fender F-35.

There is a number stamped on the inside of the neck block you can see thru the sound hole which is 51467.
Since I don't think it's a 51, could it be the LAST two #s?

I'll check tonight and get back to you.

I have a couple. I'll check re: the serial nos. and post another reply tomorrow. The F-series acoustics were Japanese made for Fender by the Nagoya Company between 1969 and 1979. I have one ('79) with the Nagoya logo and one with the Fender logo . (Can't remember its date.) Although they have virtually no "collectability" value, they're good everyday working guitars. Use lightweight phospure bronze strings for the best response. I'd buy another one for $60, no question.

F-35 Serial No.

I checked. It's the Nagoya that has a serial no. ink-stamped on the paper label in the sound hole. The first two digits are the year. My Fender F-35, like yours, does not have a serial no. stamp. Sorry.
