Great Washburn Acoustic Story!
The acoustic guitar player in my band recently acquired a new guitar. It's a Washburn small dread style, with a slotted headstock, caved heal and toe and solid top. Really good sounding guitar.
He sent an email to Washburn asking about it's history, and their response is that the guitar was built in 1995 and flopped in sales. They only made a handfull of these instruments, and he his is 0001! The great thing about it is that he bought it for around $300, and it originally retailed for around $800. Lot better than the cardbord top Olympias he's been playing... |
