Guild JF-30 Opinions?????
What do you think of the new ones being built in Corona
compared to the models from Westerly???? I'm thinking of buying one for Blues.

GREAT guitar, especially for recording. The arched lam back makes the guitar sound less middy and more "clean".
I have one from 1995 and it is a monster of a guitar. The neck is the stablest neck on any accoustic I've ever owned.I haven't adjusted it in 7 years! |

Well actually the guitar "visits" Santorini 3 months each summer. The island has a tremendous humidity (around 65-80%) and since the guitar stays in ATHENS during the rest of the year (the famous ATHENS climate ("attikon clima" in ancient Greece)),probably the best in the world with 45% all year round humidity) it is a miracle that the guitar does not need adjustment!

I bought a NOS 1997 Guild JF-30,made in Westerly,Rhode Island for $1100.00 w/case and Lifetime Warranty.
I'm very satisfied. Also, after playing a new Corona JF-30,there is definitely a difference. I'm glad I got the Westerly.
