I just saw a guitar on another forum that has Lollar pickups in it.
It has a CC in the neck and a Lollar/Aiello Horseshoe pickup(like on the '30s Rickenbacher guitars) and it has a Hipshot 'Trillogy'multi-tuning bridge(3 possible tunings for each string).
I think this guitar would be the ultimate slide tele, with those pickups and a bridge that will give you multiple tunings with a flick of a switch.
The guitar will be at the Hipshot booth during the upcoming NAMM show.
