One more point. The Sox and yankees with their huge payrolls have a down side as well, they are expected to win the World Series. If the Twins, A's, Indians, or whomever do not win it people will look at the season in terms of the good parts and the bad parts. If the Sox or yanks don't win there are no good and bad parts, the entire season was a failure and that is how it should be. The pressure of winning from the media, the fans, and the organization is why Boston and New York is not always the best place for some players. The grass is not always greener on the otherside. Also the Mets, Cubs, and a few other teams are beginning to creep up when it comes to team payrolls (10 teams over 100 mil. in payroll). As long as the Sox and yankees don't go any higher the whole payroll thing will die down soon enough. I hope.
