+1 on the book. It could be like the blackgaurd book except all famous Teles.. Syd Barretts esquire and 60s custom tele.. Jimmy Page's dragon tele.. Roy's Nancy.. Springsteens Esquire.. Albert Collin's tele..

I'm personally not really a fan of the overpriced Fender tribute guitars. The only one I would even consider buying would be a Syd Barrett mirror disk Esquire since he is the reason I ever played and bought a Tele. Even then it would have to be good and not a ridiculous price or I probably wouldn't bother.
