Jcrash and/or others:

What particular web resources might you recommend to guide a novice through how to go about building a cabinet? I would need to know about proper construction techniques, tools needed, etc.

I know I could do it, just don't know if I could do it WELL (that is, something I'd enjoy looking at, something that wouldn't fall apart, etc.) I'd much rather fork over the few hundred bucks to a good builder than spend money on materials and (probably) tools and build something that looked crappy anyhow.
