We often meet for a family beach circus in Lake Mills for a combo of clear water and accommodating people in the Madison, Milwaukee and Fort Atkinson areas. The guitar part is that warm sticky, sun block, sweat and dirt days put away any second thoughts over the Little Martin.
I chose the plastic and plywood Little because the general build is good and because the materials seem better than cheap all wood guitars for the environmental extremes.
The biggest problem with my Little Martin was coming across a Larrivee OMV and the best HD-28 I've seen (heard actually) while shopping for it. Talking about GAS here and in some other forums is a rats managing a crisis at the dump scenario. My wife was pretty cool about it saying she'd take a guitar guy over an in the bar guy or working on the car guy any day.
