Took out the Strat today and cranked the OD , man it sounded good to my ears, had a blast. The Strat (IMHO) is like the tele where you have to play it hard and really work it - when I play a LP I almost feel like I'm cheating, it just works itself, sort of like playing tennis with one of those huge powerful tennis racquets.
