Oddly...try a JBL E120...many moons ago, I ran a pair of Bandits as the amp/speaker combination for a pretty small yet cool stereo rack system...and the JBLs were KILLERs for that powerful but stupidly clean sound I wanted (and still want...) I tried the (then) upscaled Black Widows, but was not impressed.

If JBLs are unavailable (do they still make the E120?) then I would not hesitate to suggest a pair of Weber California 12s...
