I know there's been some interest but I had a hard time finding many clips of these pickups. So here are a few clips of a VintageVibe Charlie Christian pickup in an alder body tele. It's got the ceramic magnets installed. I tried to do these clips as dry and direct as possible, but also posted some variations "dressed up."
(Note: I posted part of this in another thread but thought it might be easier to find this way)
First clip, part of the head to "Have you met Miss Jones," played on the neck pickup alone, direct into a Mackie Satellite using GarageBand. No EQ, no effects--the direct sound of the pickup
Miss Jones plain:

And now, just to show how deceptive clips are, the same track with verb, compression and an amp sim
Miss Jones dolled up:

And here's the CC pickup in the middle position, with I think a Duncan Broadcaster in the bridge, playing the head to "Blue in Green." Direct in, completely dry:
Green, clean:

And with amp sim, verb and a little chorus:
Wet Green:

Finally, a clip recorded with a Budda Twinmaster 12, using an SM57 and a bit of verb. Neck pickup only

It has a really thick sound--I have the pickup adjusted very low to be close to equal to the bridge pickup. I'm pretty happy with it. Plus it looks cool. pete's service is fast and he offers to sell you the pickup in a precut pickguard, which is way cool
