I've never heard a Warmoth "hollow" body, and would be interested to know if it sounded different from, say, a Thinline. But I would guess that, played acoustically, a Warmoth "hollow" wouldn't sound as full. I'd venture that the larger chambers in a Thinline would give a larger top diaphragm that would have more mids and lows. I love my two chambered ho-made Teles. On the other hand, a Warmouth "hollow" might well have it's own special vibe... and light guitars are just nicer-feeling. Anyway, whether one would sound any different from the other at full amplification is anybody's guess.
Anybody got a "hollow"?
