Hold on here a second;
isn't there an actual interview with Dom The Deceased in which he openly claims that he had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT FIRST RECORD. If that interview does in fact EXIST - it's blows your accusation to smithereens.
Also - this "spin" reeks of "Music Industry Insider". You People probably OWE this Kid a mountain of money and are terrified of the litigation consequences if he gets representation. If I was an exec on board and I sent all the royalties to Dom The Deceased OR the "known" original members all the while knowing that "the creative force" was being "cut out" I'd be looking for real estate in Costa Rica.
And if I was a member of the ORIGINAL GROUP and KNEW that I've been ripping this kid off for the last 40 years for HIS royalties I'd get a Lawyer.
FAST.
IF - this is the way it went down - other people have been spending that family's deserved royalties for decades.
And yes, now it does feel like a very BAD movie.
Why should I be surprised?
Why should any of us be surprised?
I saw the EXACT same thing happen to "The Primitives" who were from
Lawrence Massachusetts 40 years ago.
"too many teardrops for one heart to be cryin'"
Hey who wrote "96 Tears"? Really?
What's done in the darkness shall come to The Light.
Hunter Thompson had it down in regards to "The Industry".
