Just an example of how ya can really play around with it all - the other week I started playing CCR's "Born on the Bayou" in Open E tuning. Got this funky Mississippi Hill Country style drone thing going on with the bridge played on the low strings. Just rumbled. Felt we needed something fun to spice the setlist up a bit and this really fits the bill.
