yes. exaxctly the reason why i stated tribute guitars not 'signature' so we can avoid the standard yawn-isms of tom delonge and kurt cobain debates. this thread isnt about how good the teles might be, just about who YOU would like to see get a tribute model tele. Signature models are being thrown around willy-nilly these days especially by fender, usually just to cash in to a certain demographic. but the tribute series has always interested me and I think people on here would only buy a $5000 tribute guitar if it REALLY meant something to them. That's what I was just interested in establishing, who realy DESERVES a tribute model. be that because of their talent or playing ability, or maybe because their particular tele is iconic.
