A 15F150 has a 40oz ceramic magnet, the JenNeo 15 has a 7 oz neodymium magnet = at least a 2lb weight saving.
Also, does the Jensen have any tone qualities similar to a '50s Jensen?
What I can say is that the JenNeo 15 is a robust 150watts RMS with a 2.56" voice coil and an SPL of 101.1dB, and I've thrown 15, 25, 40 and 100 watt tube amps at it and it just doesn't color the amp's tone and refuses to fart out or otherwise attempt self destruction. I think that's a real good thing. I've got another on order. A friend has a JenNeo 10 in an 18watt Champ II and the tone and power really woke that amp up. Yeah, I'm a neodymium fan now, for sure.
We had a Gibson GA-70 Country Western in the shop a few weeks ago, with a jensen, and it was unbelievable. Supreme clean tones, Marshall-like breakup.
