They changed the Hwy 1 Tele pup specs in 2006 and the new spec ones are hot A3s. That's what Fender says on the product page specs for the Hwy 1. I measured a newer spec Hwy 1 set with an ohmeter, the bridge was 14.5k and the neck was 11k.
The earlier spec Hwy 1 pups were the same as used on a '50s Classic, which average 6.5k on the bridge and 8k for the neck.
These hot a3s look almost like the earlier spec, except from ebay pics the leads appear to be reversed on the bridge. Look at the colors of the leads on the ebay pics for one and compare them to a Classic Series bridge.
