I really, really dug this interview as well - I thought he came across as a super cool, down to Earth guy. Especially when he said the thing about putting the Pizza Hut sticker on his guitar when he was a kid - that made me laugh out loud hahaha!
He just came across as being HIMSELF. Insanely honest and not caring what anyone else would think - even when he was talking about the music he liked...I don't think I've ever read any musician known for doing what he does talk about going through an "ABBA" phase. He just seemed super down to Earth and cool IMO...and that's coming from someone who only owns one of his albums - and it's The Ranch!
