I have two favourite Martins - the D28 and the D41. One has the classic simplicity and elegance with superb, honest sound, the other has looks, glitter, panache - and it sounds every bit as good as it looks.

As playing guitars they would make a fine pair. As investments they'd give pleasure as well.

For now I'm more than content with My Larrivee D10 and Maton Lyrebird, and an old Takamine F400 12-string from the 1970s...perfectly yellowed around the edges and with a distinctive sound all its own.

The Martin D28 and D41. Just doesn't get any better than that.
