What a cool performance!
I drove 80 miles thru a blizzard to see him in Indianapolis several years back. My girlfriend adores him, and the tickets to the show were my birthday gift to her.
Killing time before hand, we ran into the entire band, John, brother Martin on bass and Bucky--a personal hero of mine--on guitar, on their way to the show. They were a class act. Each gracious, personable, and willing to chat for a few moments. My girlfriend was delighted.
Attendance was hurt by the weather, but they put on a terrific show.
If you get the chance, I strongly recommend that you check him out. He's got monster chops, but keeps his performance very musical and accessible.
