I also like Brian Setzer
. You can learn a lot from him as he borrows heavily off of Scotty,Perkins and Cochrane.
Also check out this guys site:
He plays some mean rockabilly, offers lots of into on how to get the sound, guitars and amps commonly used, etc. He also has a book explaining the style, scales used, chord voicings, common riffs, etc. I think its a great into to the style and probably just what your looking for.
none of this is tele specific, but playin this stuff on a tele sounds great!
