I also like
Brian Setzer. You can learn a lot from him as he borrows heavily off of Scotty,Perkins and Cochrane.

He plays some mean rockabilly, offers lots of into on how to get the sound, guitars and amps commonly used, etc. He also has a book explaining the style, scales used, chord voicings, common riffs, etc. I think its a great into to the style and probably just what your looking for.
none of this is tele specific, but playin this stuff on a tele sounds great!
