Cort Triggs guitar
Well, I need another guitar like I need a summer cold, but I did it anyway. A fellow TDPRI'r who lives nearby had a nice Cort Triggs model for sale. It's shiny black with a cream pickuguard. Semi hollow, dual humbucker, one F hole, Gibson vol & tone set up with tune-o-matic bridge and stop tail piece. He had changed the pickups out to stew-mac golden ager's. By the way, the Stew Mac pickups are very good for the money. I still prefer Seth Lovers, but these are OK. This guitar has kind of a 335 meets Rickenbacker vibe to it. I am very impressed with the quality, tone and playablity of this Indoneasian made axe. I was not sure if I like the body style, but it continues to grow on me! I think they make em in black and turquoise. I'm glad it's the black one. While it's not going to replace my #1 tele, it's still a great sounding little guitar and a blast to play. He bought it for $99.00 from Musicians Friend on a blowout. The stock pups wre mighty mites, so I'm glad he upgraded them. All in all, avery cool looking, playing and sounding guitar for cheap. If you're in the market for a cheap, cheap semi hollow, check it out.
