I've been interested in the Modern Player Thinline Deluxe Telecaster for a while and having found that a local dealer had one in stock I went to check it out yesterday. I was most impressed with the build quality, finish and the feel of the neck, which has a nice profile for me and very comfortable rolled edges to the fingerboard. It's also commendably light in weight. The pickups sounded pretty good, though I'm not knowledgeable about P90-type pickups in general.

Anyway, I bought the guitar and will be gigging it soon. Further impressions once I've become more familiar with it.
