Checked the link: Cool looking guitar. The fretboard streaks are nothing unusual at all. Does he know that rosewood comes from a tree? Look like a deal for the price IMO, and very nice flame neck.
Good luck on the truss rod deal. He may have broke it... then it's a he said/he said.
