From the pix, that grill cloth looks like my 74 (orange stripe). A 78 would have a master volume - which I believe was added in 75 IIRC.
As far as the logo - that looks like the 1st version tail-less logo, which would be correct for a 74. A 78 would have the 2nd version logo, which has some additional small text added under the "Fender" I believe.
Obviously, the best way to verify date is by checking chassis and transformer numbers.
