Good question Rolling Estonian. The on/off switch for me is like this bonus indie rock noise gizmo. Let some feedback go and rapidly switch on and off. Fugazi and Mission of Burma come to mind in association with these noises. Think Pete Townsend in the early Who days. I may still convert to original esquire wiring. Maybe not.
Oh yeah. Compensated saddles are well worth it.
