Depends what you mean by "#1". Of the dozen guitar amps I own, the one that gets used most for gigs is the Roland Cube 60. The size/weight/sound/volume equation is optimal for my purposes on the majority of occasions.

However, it's not my out-and-out favourite for pure sound and responsiveness. Among the others, it's nearly too close to call between the Tech 21 Trademark 60, Roland Blues Cube BC-60 1x12, Music Man 112RP-100-EV and my one-off custom 2x10 with a Peavey Classic 50 chassis. If really forced to choose I'd probably give the edge (just) to the Blues Cube.

So much for Number One. Of those not listed here, some are pretty good, some are OK, while some sound more like Number Two...
