Whilst I still got my "muse" on from the challenge...

Thought I'd tackle a build I've been debating over for quite a while. A friend from work lives down in Cameron Parish, hurricane Rita devastated them down there, and a lot of other places, but, the old schoolhouse still stood till Rita decided to level and scatter it. All that was left was the floor joists, very very old 100 at least, and maybe nearing 200 yr old pine. He got me a chunk. Here it is.

Check out the tight grain.

I'm going to take my first tele, old red, and take it apart, hollow the body, plane it down to proper thickness, and top it with the pine. I'm going to resaw the pine into as many drop tops as I can.
:) :) :)
