Take them off!

I had to find a new PG because the stickers had been left on a Jimmie Vaughan Strat I got from a previous owner.

If the plastic and stickers hadn't been left on for some 6-7 years, the PG would have had a nice, even, aged color. Instead it had tan lines where the stickers were.
